How do we feel when we have pimples?
Almost all of us have experienced or know someone who has experienced the psychological effects of acne. Studies have concluded that some of the common emotions between people with pimples are: social withdrawal, low self-esteem, embarrassment, feelings of depression, anger, irritability.
In addition, because acne can cause permanent scarring, these effects can last a lifetime. It is important to remember, however, that no one needs to suffer from pimples. It is an extremely treatable condition that dermatologists are trained to help manage and control.

Acne lesions are divided into inflammatory and non-inflammatory
- Non-inflammatory lesions include closed (white) pharyngitis and open (black) pharyngitis)
- Inflammatory lesions include papules, blisters and nodules
